As one of the founders of Saxon advertising agency I have been into communicating with people since 1991. This type of work is the most efficient if there is a long term continuous collaboration present between the agency and its customers regarding the creations of a brand's strategy. An agency can only give a responsible advice when it had the time to get to know the most important characteristics of the given product or service. Therefore the more we know about it, the more efficiently we work.
One can only be successful taking into account that every product requires a strategy of its own.
